Our Story

Founded in 2002 in Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province, China, Huayou Cobalt has evolved from a cobalt refiner into a global leader in new energy lithium-ion battery materials. With over two decades of pioneering innovation, we have established ourselves as a vertically integrated enterprise spanning the entire value chain—from resource extraction to advanced material manufacturing.

Listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2015, Huayou has grown to become one of China's Top 500 Enterprises and a Top 500 Private Enterprise.
