About the Role

Lead development of next-generation cathode materials for EV applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research and development of advanced NCM and NCA cathode materials
  • Optimize material formulations for enhanced energy density and cycle life
  • Collaborate with production teams to scale lab innovations to commercial production
  • Analyze material performance data and present findings to leadership
  • Manage junior engineers and research scientists
  • Partner with customers to understand technical requirements and customize solutions

Qualifications

  • PhD or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in battery materials development, preferably cathode materials
  • Deep understanding of lithium-ion battery chemistry and electrochemistry
  • Experience with material characterization techniques (XRD, SEM, ICP, etc.)
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
