Senior Battery Materials Engineer

About the Role

Lead development of next-generation cathode materials for EV applications.

Responsibilities

• •Lead research and development of advanced NCM and NCA cathode materials
• •Optimize material formulations for enhanced energy density and cycle life
• •Collaborate with production teams to scale lab innovations to commercial production
• •Analyze material performance data and present findings to leadership
• •Manage junior engineers and research scientists
• •Partner with customers to understand technical requirements and customize solutions

Qualifications

• •PhD or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• •5+ years of experience in battery materials development, preferably cathode materials
• •Deep understanding of lithium-ion battery chemistry and electrochemistry
• •Experience with material characterization techniques (XRD, SEM, ICP, etc.)
• •Strong project management and leadership skills
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills
