Chemical Process Engineer

About the Role

Optimize hydrometallurgical processes for battery material production.

Responsibilities

• •Design and optimize chemical processes for battery material manufacturing
• •Develop process flow diagrams and mass/energy balances
• •Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
• •Scale up laboratory processes to pilot and commercial production
• •Ensure process safety and environmental compliance
• •Lead process improvement projects to reduce costs and improve quality
• •Collaborate with R&D team on new product development

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
• •3-7 years of experience in chemical processing, preferably in battery materials or hydrometallurgy
• •Strong understanding of unit operations and process chemistry
• •Experience with process simulation software (Aspen, HYSYS, or similar)
• •Knowledge of process safety management (PSM) and environmental regulations
• •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Project management experience
