Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Design and optimize manufacturing equipment and production systems.

Responsibilities

• •Design mechanical systems and equipment for battery material production
• •Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics calculations
• •Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• •Oversee equipment installation and commissioning
• •Develop preventive maintenance programs
• •Support continuous improvement initiatives
• •Collaborate with vendors and contractors on equipment procurement

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• •3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and equipment engineering
• •Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• •Experience with FEA and CFD analysis tools
• •Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation
• •Strong project management skills
• •PE license preferred but not required
